Have You Ever Tried Callaway Big Bertha 460 Driver??

The Callaway Big Bertha 460 Driver is designed with a geometry close to the dimensional limit set by the USGA/R&A for length and width. This enables Callaway Golf engineers to incorporate a 460cc head design with a shallower face, flatter crown and the highest Moment of Inertia ever in a Callaway Golf all-titanium head, resulting in longer and straighter off-center shots. In addition, the Stretched Head Design allows (cheap golf clubs) the CG to be positioned deeper within the clubhead to achieve optimum ball flight and maximum forgiveness.

The story behind a flatter shape

Callaway Golf engineers designed the Big Bertha 460 Driver with a shallower face, flatter shape and the highest moment of inertia (MOI) ever in a Callaway Golf all-titanium head. That means longer and straighter ball flight on off-center shots.

Stretched Head Design

460cc head volume and shallower face inspire confidence at address. The wider head shape produces the highest MOI ever in a Callaway Golf all-titanium head, resulting in increased stability and straighter drives (cheap golf clubs). A deeper center of gravity (CG) offers higher overall trajectory and helps get the ball airborne.

Correct Alignment Stripe

Works in conjunction with the Chevron logo, allowing golfers to consistently square the club face at address to ensure correct alignment.

CT/VFT Face Design

Modified version of VFT Technology in which face thicknesses are designed specifically to maximize performance under the new USGA Characteristic Time test, resulting in a more robust face for increased ball speed on shots hit all over the face.

The obvious new features are that the club finally reaches the maximum allowed 460cc head size! The previous model only came in at 454cc. The club is designed for the mid to high handicap player with a bit of a slice. The face is 1 to 2 degrees closed to help correct a slice and features Callaways Tru-Bore technology for great shaft stability while allowing more weight to be distributed to the perimeter of the club. Callaway Big Bertha 460 Driver also features Callaways time tested VFT face for a greater spring like effect. Try one of these for yourself like I did, then if possible hit the origional Bertha and you will be amazed at how far apart these clubs are in forgivness and accuracy! I thought I was going to miss the ball with the 1990 Bertha! I could not believe I ever hit that little thing, especially for as good as I hit it at the time!
